The movie start with a girl named Nancy (played by Heater Langerkamp). Nancy lives in Springwood, Elm Street. When the movie begin Nancy and her friends sleeps over at Tina’s house because she is home alone and a little afraid of being by herself. Tina is afraid of being alone because she had many nightmares lately about a guy named Freddy Krueger (played by Robert England). Freddy was a child murderer who was found not guilty so the parents in Elm Street burned down his house with him inside. Now he kills teenagers in their dreams. Later Tina becomes murdered and the police think it is her boyfriend Rod (played by Jsu Garcia) who killed her. But when he is also murdered, Nancy finds out that something mysterious is going on at Elm Street. Nancy needs to defeat Freddy so all the murders will stop.

I’ll give this movie 5 star because it mixes horror and dark humour very well. The Nightmare on Elm Street series consists of seven movies, all of them with great plots. You should really see them all.
